INCLUSIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMfor INTERNET DEVELOPMENT

RSSO believes that Education is the most powerful instrument by which we can bring change in the life of children & slum dwellers. The goal is to reduce the callous attitude of parents & society for disabled children, create a normal & healthy environment in the family & school in order to integrate them in to main stream society.

This project operates presently in eight slums:

Bharatpur

Salia Sahi

Shantipally

Jharana Basti

Mahavir Basti

Patharbandha

Rishaw Colony

Omfed Basti

We have two qualified field organizers Swagatika & Kakali who work under Dr B.G Mishra Physiotherapy Consultant, Inclusive Education Project Officer.

We have Identified & Diagnosed in these three months differently abled children as well as counseled their parents to accept the child & change their attitude towards disability. In the team there are Six health workers who gives the necessary therapy & medical rehabilitation in that Geographical area, so that the treatment continues regularly. we also motivate the school teacher in slums to give much attention to disable children.

This project is supported by Dr Herman Kuppers of “VZW Thomas- Ruchika for India” along with many dedicated staff from Belgium.
